Effective January 22nd, 2017 employers are required to utilize the newest version of the Form I-9, revision date November 14th, 2016. Employers can access the form on the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) website. Failure to utilize the new form could expose your business to penalties, which were recently increased in 2016. The new form has an expiration date of August 31st, 2019.
